At this point in the story you should be noticing some changes that 'Lois sees as the family is traveling south from Ohio. What are your thoughts on these changes in perspective?

I have noticed that when they are going to the Gasoline station that there is one water fauntain it say's colored only and in the other water fountain it looks better and it say's white only I think it is not fair.

ReplyDeleteI have noticed that there is two fountains and one says white,the other said colored.Also that the white fountains are much better than the colored fountains plus the white fountains are SO much cleaner than the colored fountain and the colored fountain is SO dirty and the white fountain is SO clean.

ReplyDeleteWhen they went to Kentucky,Lois saw White Only signs.Then the police man came and asks the father if the cadillac is his and the father said yes and the police man called him a liar and he thought he stole it.Then the father paid for the ticket and Lois was scared because the police man might come back.
ReplyDeleteNow that they are going to another place I have noticed some other things that they did not have were they use to live in like in the one water fountain it is ugly and it say's colored only and in the pretty water fountain it say's white only no colored and the police think that they stold a car because they could not have a car that is really pretty so they aressted the dad and took him to jail
